OK, I'll bite

I'll be the first to jump in and get us started. The historian in me feels compelled to set a baseline for our sisterhood, lol. We have been together as a close-knit group of friends-turned-'sisters' for a few years now. We all met as part of another group that 'dismantled', and we formed our own little family with regular get-togethers. It's a beautiful relationship we all have, if you ask me. We get together both with our children and without. They are forming friendships with each other, and also forming bonds with each of us in different ways. We each have different, yet special, relationships with each other. It's hard to explain, but I, for one, am so glad to have each of these women in my life.

So now some news, some of 'what's going on with __" to get us started.

I'll start with myself... Lisa... Kool Aide Sista... aka Scrap Mom... things are calming down in my house, as the dust continues to settle since Hurricane Joe stormed through here at 18 mph, lol. Word on the street is that he is settling into his new place, did get a job, though I'm not privvie to know if it's pt or ft. Dominick is in bed again before 8, sick as a dog. Why do we say that? Where did that come from? It makes no sense at all, but you get my drift. He continues to work at the vending co., and does our business on weekends. Business is going ok, starting to pick up, finally! Dante is doing fantastic in school! Today he shocked me and spouted off his phone number to the clerk in the store! Who even knew he knew that? Olivia is doing well also. She is sick right now, but that certainly isn't stopping her from yapping up a storm each day! I swear she says something new every hour. She even said "shit" today. Uh oh. Mom is guilty there, shit!! LOL

OK, on to Tammie... to the best of what I know, but she can certainly edit this, ha ha! She is doing just fine in most areas of life. Though she suffers from her medical issues, she does quite a job keeping her woes quiet, most would never know her daily battles. I feel so privileged to have this woman as the big sister that I always wanted! Erin is also in kindergarten and doing quite well. Mom reports that she is beginning reading and writing and all the other normal things that 5 year olds do in school! Tammie has come so far in her scrapping it is amazing to me to watch. She once was the one who sat here and said she didn't 'know how' to scrap and she's flying now! In fact, we have clearly made a monster out of her as she has almost caught up to me in the supply area!

Michelle... well, this younger sister has notified us that she is leaving us... geographically anyway. She, Scott and Madi will be moving north to go live in Jacksonville within the next 3 months. Why? Who knows, for some reasons that we, here sisters, did not approve of, that's all I know! Madi is doing well in pre-k and will start Kindegarten up in Jax in the fall. She has blossomed into quite the young lady. Her vocabulary has come so far in the last year since she began school. Seems that she's also learning something new every day!

Viv... our Caniidian older sister... she moved up to a cold land far, far away last summer. She had to relocate for family reasons that, again, we did not approve of, but understood. Kerri is beginning potty training and from all reports, is moving right along and beginning to get the hang of it, YEAH, Kerri! Once Kerri is pt'd then she can begin preschool herself and have the opportunity to make some friends up there. It'll also give Viv some much needed alone time a few hours at a time and then she'll be able to jump back into scrapping along with her daily blogging. We miss you guys and can't wait til you come to visit!

Jamey... hmm hmm... this older sister (well, to me, anyway!) has just informed us that she is looking for another first name beginning with "C"! Mind you, she does this by EMAIL!!! WHAT? lol, you throw news like that at us by email!? Anyway, she is preparing to become Mama to another beautiful little bundle! Casey is up and running around, so I guess it was about time for the next one, ha ha! Jamey is another who has come SO far in her scrapping. I'm amazed at the work she's been doing lately. I think she's secretly taking classes somewhere! Cassidy and Casey are growing up so fast, too. Cassidy is talking up a storm and Casey even gets a word in once in awhile, too!

OK, ladies... feel free to add or edit my words to your own personal updates. OR, better yet, add a post of your own!

Ta ta til tomorrow when we'll all get together for "Sundae Saturday Scrapping" with the kiddos... this should be fun! We'll take and post pictures and tell all about it.
